THE -FILES...

What can I say about The X-Files that hasn't been said a million times before? I am constantly amazed by the quality of the storylines and the chemistry between the actors. Everyone with any involvement in the show deserves to be congratulated for four years of exceptional work.

Now that I've finished raving, it's time to tell you a little bit about the show. The X-Files follows the investigations into unexplained cases and all things paranormal by a pair of FBI agents, Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Mulder (David Duchovny) is the believer - and no-one is more passionate about his beliefs. Scully (Gillian Anderson), on the other hand, is a skeptic whose faith in science is sorely tested by all that she has seen and experienced. As the agents investigate their bizarre cases, an unseen (though strongly hinted at) force often prevents Mulder and Scully from learning certain truths. These truths include the extent of the government's involvement in such nefarious activities as coverups and mass public brainwashing. The now famous lack of closure in the episodes lets fans speculate on just how that storyline will become woven into the funereal fabric that is the X-Files.

The Truth is Almost Here...

We've been left hanging by the traumatic ending to season 5... what will be the consequences of what appeared to be a fatal blow to the X-Files? Will Mulder and Scully be able to rise out of the ashes like the proverbial phoenix and find the Truth after all? With the upcoming release of the motion picture "The X-Files - Fight the Future" maybe some of the Truth will finally be revealed. I can imagine that Chris Carter will give us just enough to sate our appetites, and yet still leave us hungering for more... Check out the motion picture website by clicking on the link:
